Bear Creek Camp’s Program Director oversees the design and implementation of programming throughout the year for youth, families, and adults through summer camp and year-round retreat programs and assists in the management of overall camp operations as a member of the year-round staff team.

First wave application deadline of July 5, 2024 with rolling interviews to begin after that date. Position will be open until filled.

Summer Cooks to serve in the role of providing hospitality through food to campers, staff, and guests. Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager, weekly schedules vary based on availability part-time, hourly from June- August. Salary range of $15-$16/hour depending on experience.

The ideal candidate would have cooking experience for medium to large groups; ability to work with Food Service Manager and other kitchen/camp staff; be willing to participate in hands-on training; and a heart for serving youth and the camp through food service. Criminal and abuse clearances are required.

The right candidate could expand the role to include providing food service support for off-season (September- May) weekend and weekday groups on a flexible, as-needed basis.

Do you have a love for the outdoors and sharing your environmental knowledge with others? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! The Part-Time/Seasonal Naturalist is responsible for developing, implementing and marketing environmental education programs for children and adults. The Naturalist works in the Nature Center, on Bear Creek Camp property under a wide range of weather conditions and terrains, and in schools and other off-site indoor and outdoor locations. Schedule varies based on Bear Creek Camp needs.

Bear Creek Camp summer staff are young adults committed to the enriching community building and personal growth experiences made possible through camp. Summer staff serve the overall ministry in a variety of roles, primarily as cabin counselors responsible for the supervision of youth. Working at summer camp is the perfect opportunity to make life-long friends, make a positive impact on the world, and build skills applicable to all future careers.
