Nature Day Camp
What do we DO at Nature Day Camp?
Programs range from 3-5 days in length and are centered on specific environmental themes. From catching critters in local streams to searching for birds high in trees, campers will explore the world around them as they learn about God’s creation. Your child can learn all about his or her favorite topic or may discover a new one!
What do we LEARN at Nature Day Camp?
Campers start their day with a fun, activity-based Bible study, and then continue the fun and learning with hiking, aquatic activities, games, arts and crafts, and more! As campers grow individually and as a group, they will discover ecological connections in the world around them.
Nature Day Camp Campership Form
The Greater Wyoming Valley Audubon Society (GWVAS) has a limited number of full or partial Nature Camp Scholarships available for a session at Bear Creek Camp’s Nature Day Camp. Please send your filled out scholarship application to GWVAS before the deadline of May 30 after registering and paying for Nature Day Camp. Awarded scholarships are reimbursed by the society.
