On December 1st, 2020, join with the entire Bear Creek Camp community for a day of giving in support of continued improvements to our facilities.
We’ve officially wrapped up the Cabin Campaign with the addition of cabins to North Site at the beginning of this year and we’re ready to move to the next stage of improving facilities for our summer campers and year-round guests.
With the increased use of our East and South Site by family rental groups this summer, into this fall, and certainly into future off-seasons, we’ve identified the need to continue the process of insulating and adding heat to the remaining 8 ‘unfinished’ cabins. Finishing these cabins will allow us to serve more families and user groups in the fall and spring and will also be more comfortable for summer campers. Adding these touches will cost ~$2,500 per cabin in materials, with the bulk of the labor being performed by volunteer groups and the BCC facilities team.
On Giving Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 we strive to raise funds to complete this project and continue to support the ongoing facilities and maintenance projects around camp. We will begin with a generous match of $10,000 which means the impact of every dollar you give will be doubled!
You can begin to make donations now towards this match and we’ll be celebrating on Facebook and Instagram throughout the day on Tuesday, December 1st.
Due to the global situation and government mandates on large gatherings, Bear Creek Camp’s third annual Campfire & Cocktails Gala has been canceled. While we are unable to hold the in-person event on April 18th, we are developing ways to continue to use the day to celebrate the Bear Creek Camp community and support our upcoming summer camp programs. Please join us for Bear Creek Camp’s third annual Campfire & Cocktails Gala on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Homewood Suites in Center Valley! This year, we will be raising money for our Campership Fund AND a major project on Bear Creek Camp property. Join us for an evening of food, fun, friends, dancing, and both live and silent auctions. Cocktails will begin being served at 6 pm, with dinner to follow. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our 2019 Gala was a successful evening and we anticipate this year being even better! With more than 150 attendees, over $34,000 was raised for campers through ticket sales and the evening’s events. Highlights of the evening included hearing about the love of camp from staff members and the board of directors, exciting live auction bidding wars for floor seats at a Billy Joel concert and beautiful professional photography of camp, dancing the evening away to great music provided by a DJ, and catching up with Bear Creek Camp friends!

We are offering businesses the opportunity to advertise in this space. If you are a friend of camp, the advertisements are also available for pictures, a warm fuzzy, or note to the people who make this place special to you.
